 Dear Reader,

In celebration of my brother, Jeff, and his inspiring friends, I created “The Over 21 Disabilities Project,” which is a fundraising initiative. I am raising money because there are over 22,000 people with disabilities on the Pennsylvania statewide wait list who need various community and support services as soon as they turn 21.

To learn more about this increasing crisis, please visit: pawaitinglistcampaign.org.

A portion of my book’s proceeds will go to The Jeffrey J. Stampahar Fund at ACHIEVA. Jeff’s restricted fund will specifically support advocacy costs related to reducing the community and support services waitlists for people with mental health/mental retardation disabilities who are over 21 years of age.

To learn more about the not-for-profit organization, ACHIEVA, who is the provider of these advocacy efforts and the recipient of the monies, please visit: achieva.info.

“As I read the book, I was inspired, once again, by the wonderful lemonade you have made from a life that was indeed filled with lemons. Good for you, Nancy! You make us believe that we can achieve our goals, despite all odds.”
